White Paper Submission
In early 2009 DFID carried out a consultation an a new White Paper. The Youth Working Group were involved in the co-ordination of a young people's consultation event on the Consultation document: 'Eliminating World Poverty: Assuring our Common Future'
You results of that consultation day were written up as a 'Youth Submission' to the consultation process.

Youth Mapping Study
The Youth Mapping Study is a key document setting out the issues around which young people can be a the heart of the development agenda.

The study was commissioned by the Youth Working Group of the Civil Society / DFID Network on Children and Youth. Its purpose was to assess the current approaches to youth in DFID’s development cooperation in both policy and country assistance practice. The study was conducted by a single consultant over a period of 30 working days, by a review of a substantial sample of DFID documents and interviews with a selection of DFID staff members (field and HQ) and partner organisations.
