Website Help

This website is designed both to provide information for individuals and organisations interested in the work of the DFID CSO Youth Working Group, and as a collaboration space for members of the Youth Working Group.

The Youth Working Group operates as a loose network and has not centralised resource. Therefore this website is maintained by a number of members of the About the Youth Working Group and it's start.

Using the website

If you have any trouble accessing or using this website please contact ywg@practicalparticipation.co.uk.

If you spot any content which you believe is in error, please contact the convenor of the relevant sub group (if you can find this information) copying in ywg@practicalparticipation.co.uk to your e-mail.

Managing the website

The following instructions are for Youth Working Group members tasked with maintaining sections of this website. Support for maintaining the site is available from Tim Davies tim-ywg@practicalparticipation.co.uk.

The Website

E-mail Lists

The DFID CSO Youth Working Group has e-mail lists for the whole group, the steering group, and each of the sub-groups.

Under the 'SubGroups' menu you will find details of how to join each sub-group's mailing list.

Managing Mailing Lists

If you are the chair of a sub-group, or you are setting up a new sub-group, please consult this guide to creating and using Google Groups as e-mail lists.

E-mail lists are generally set up in the format: ywg-SUBGROUPNAME@googlegroups.com. You can find more guidance on configuration settings for a new mailing list here.

You can insert subscription form and a list of the latest headlines from a group into a Wiki page using this code snippet.
